Harder. Thompson is finally going after McCain. I've been thinking that he was going to hold off on this until after the Michigan primary, but maybe he thinks that's pretty much over now, so he's finally softening him up for the election in South Carolina on Saturday.
And as he says, the notion that he'd go through all this just to be a stalking horse for McCain is indeed "ludicrous."

Being from Canada, I'm not entirely up to speed on these candidates, so I took an on-line quiz to see who best suited my beliefs. This poll was at a TV station website, at:

My list came up with this order of preference when I tried it in December ...
Giuliani, McCain, Thompson, Romney, Hunter, Paul, Huckabee, Tancredo, Obama, Biden, Clinton, Kucinich, Richardson, Edwards, Dodd, Gravel.
Should I care whether Thompson or McCain wins from a Canadian perspective?

It is a spam-filtering thing.

I suspect that Thompson would be more in favor of free trade. He'd also get probably along better with Harper, if you think that Harper will be around for a while.

You can't use that word because too many comment spammers use it.

I guess I don't like McCain when you get down to brass tacks because he doesn't appear to believe in the Constitution. I wish we had something similar, it seems here your rights are what the government says they are ...
