Polishing The Libertarian Brand
Is Ron Paul going to have anything to say about this latest incident by his brown shirts?
The assault picked up after lunch. Paul supporters phoning Call claimed to be from the media. Others just yelled, saying she had committed treason, fraud. One person said she should be shot. She received as many as 40 calls that day.
"One person said he was on a nationally syndicated radio station," Call said, "and he has given out my phone number and they need to call the town of Sutton to find out why there's voter fraud."
The voices came from everywhere. California. Ohio. Florida. Michigan. Very few were from New Hampshire.
He can say that he has no control over his supporters all he wants, but as long as he continues fail to to do a Sister Souljah and denounce this kind of thing, we will continue to conclude that money and political support is more important to him than integrity.

I wonder how many of this election's Ron Paul fanatics previously voted for Pat Buchanan and/or Ralph Nader.

Wow, people get heated about vote fraud. Who would have thought it?
Yes, it looks like simple incompetence, not malfeasence, but if I screw up at my job, i get heat for it. No difference here, someone screwed up, and now they are crying becasue the whole country knows about it.
Paul has already publicly stated that he will not ask for a recount.

Mark,
No doubt if you screw up at your job, you get heat for it.
Just wondering if your idea of "heat" is getting death threats.

What would you like Ron Paul to say Rand?

What "libertarian brand" is that? He's running as a Republican. Still stuck in the 80's? If any party needs a dose of Goldwaterism, it's the "compassionate conservatives" who've made such a hash of the budget, entitlement reform, and foreign policy masquerading as empire management.
BD - saying "I will shoot you" is a death threat. "You should be shot" is a more abstract concept, leaving open the questions of who the perp is and when the event may occur. A wish is not a threat; even hateful speech is still speech to be protected.
And if ya can't stand the heat, get outta Hell.
