The Return Of WW III?

Ron Rosenbaum is worried about Pakistan. With good reason, I think.

This quote speaks volumes:

"Here, it wasn't Bush theorizing about the future; it was a responsible official saying we'd already come close to Armageddon."

Unbelievable. The President of the United States is not considered a "responsible official" by the MSM, but an anonymous Brit minister IS?

More evidence that the MSM is incapable of objective analysis, much less reporting, of current events.

Rosenbaum also ignores the elephant in the room -- India.

What nuclear-armed India will do when faced with an Islamic fundamentalist neighbor with nukes, a neighbor with fundamentalists in power that hate Hindus as polytheists and said neighbor has already been in multiple wars with India?

Expect some serious fireworks, and hopefully the US has been talking with Indian officials regarding possible "what ifs".

The entire India-Pakistan conflict was at a much higher pitch in early 2001.

I have no idea how exactly we've reassured India, but they seem a lot more willing to go along with whatever we've established as 'safeguards'. (At least, I don't remember stories of hundreds of thousands of troops massing on the India-Pakistan border.)
