What Is Old Is New Again Gosh, it seems like the good old days of the nineties: Several obvious questions for Hillary Clinton arise from these many, varied relationships. Apparently Gupta is the new James Riadi. I wonder if there's a twenty-first century version of the Lippo Group? Do people really want to go through another eight years of this? I don't, and I don't want the other things the Clintons want to do to the government. Posted by Leland at November 26, 2007 12:24 PMThe wheels may be starting to creak on the Hillary juggernaut. The Toledo Blade, a typical leftist/statist rag, ran a political cartoon by 'Kirk' today as follows: Frantic Aide, entering the frame, "IRAN JUST NUKED ISRAEL! WHAT DO WE DO NOW?" Stoic Aide, hands raised chest high: "Sorry... All questions must be written, and submitted in advance." Blank-faced Hillary, sitting behind a desk with the Presidential Seal, says nothing. It might be an artists personal quirk or a format limitation, but the Hillary figure doesn't seem to have any pupils. I haven't rechecked the version in the physical newspaper, just the image on their website. There's a 'zoom' link, and in that link it's still not clear, but her eyes might be closed. The Media seem to like to anoint a front-runner, then tear into them. Is Hillary becoming a target? Posted by Ilya at November 26, 2007 01:34 PMThere are lots of questions that need to be asked of George Bush: 1) Why haven't you disclosed the members of the white house energy task force. 2) Would you describe all of your families ties to the saudi's? 3) should we trust any story coming from Fox news given There are lots of questions that need to be asked of George Bush: George Bush isn't running for office. Perhaps you didn't realize that, because you're an anonymous and ungrammatical moron. Posted by Rand Simberg at November 26, 2007 03:38 PMRand, have mercy on a poor BDS sufferer - he/she/it's obviously in pain. As for me, I'm just enjoying the memory of those fabulous Nineties: Clutch at plausible deniability Really, T4E should be the HRC campaign anthem. Heh. Posted by Jay Manifold at November 26, 2007 04:03 PMHell no, I don't want another Clinton anywhere near the White House. Posted by Josh Reiter at November 26, 2007 06:10 PMDo people really want to go through another eight years of this? If only Fred Thompson ran as an independent. That way, Mrs. Ted Bundy would be more likely to win the election. There are lots of questions that need to be asked of George Bush: George Bush isn't running for office. YOU tell US, if you actually know anything. #3: MURDOCH own Fox. If another Republican President is elected, will you then claim he/she has family ties to Fox? What crap.
