I remember when they were draining the Zuydeer Zee in the 70's and all the WWII planes showed up.

I was at a small airport one time when someone pulled out a P-38 for a quick run-up. Seeing pictures or footage of this plane doesn't do the massive size of its props : to overall aircraft dimension - justice.
