Living In The Past

The Dems are not just stuck on stupid, but apparently stuck in 2006, or earlier, a world in which (at least in their minds) the war was lost, and in which the world hates America.

Well, the war isn't lost, and it turns out that if one looks at the reality, all the supposed America-hating is yesterday's story as well:

The Democratic Party talking point is that Bush turned the “world” against us. The Democratic Party world now consists of Venezuela, Iran, Uzbekistan and Cuba, Cuba, Cuba.

In the real world, nation after nation is electing the pro-American candidates. And they are visiting the United States.

On Wednesday, it was tuxes with Sarkozy.

On Friday, it was Merkel at the ranch.

But continue to expect the Democrat candidates to mindlessly talk about how they're going to "heal" our international relations.

Ah yes, inviting our French and German friends over to talk, and then telling them to shove off when we want to do it our way. I think someone else is stuck on stupid.

Considering the French and Germans now regret their initial opposition? Somebody else neads a reality check.

I haven't seen a single French citizen stand up and say
"We should send the French Army to Iraq to assist the
americans"

I don't see the germans offering to relieve the US
forces in southern Iraq.

Prehaps I might have someting to say bout it? Oui??

Posted by President Sarkozy at November 11, 2007 02:47 PM

Considering the French and Germans now regret their initial opposition?

And where did you hear that????!!!

Surely it wasn't something Sarkozy said when he recently lauded Al Gore, was it?

Don't confuse a love of America with a love of BushHitler.

BusHitler huh? I see Offside is letting his slip of insanity show again.

Because of course Frankish policies revolves around a war they have no involvement in and have no concrete interest in involvement in. No ongoing debate between socialism and liberalism going on over there, no sir-ee!

And if the goal in iraq was a secular, democratic, and unified state - well, the war is over and done with, and yes, you, indeed, lost. About six to nine months ago. The sole purpose of maintaining troops in Iraq is self-righteousness, and saddling Hillary Clinton with a difficult situation in her first term.

More surge denialits checking in I see. Yes, we are doing all this to se-up an impossiblre situation for an unelectible candidate.

Posted by Mike Puckett at November 11, 2007 09:01 PM

No, Duncan. YOU lost. Enough people now know what you push for what it is: anti-American propaganda. The Party will blame you and subject you to public examination, criticism, and humiliation. I'm guessing you were one of the examiners on one occasion. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
