Chuck Norris just endorsed Mike Huckabee

No lack of creative imagination, there.

Posted by Bill White at October 22, 2007 09:38 AM

Gee Bill, wonder why?

Norris is a good man who's rationalizing why he thinks his candidate is best. Actually, the one thing he said is true, that we should not choose a president based on their image or their popularity. They should be elected on the issues and how they stand.

I'm willing to bet the only thing you have against Norris posting Huckabee is that Norris lauds the man's faith as much as his success in office.

If one looks at the Iraq body count, you can see the decline in deaths from the end of 2006. The last few weeks appear to be at 2005 levels (which were only slightly greater than 2004). There's always the possibility that fewer deaths are being reported than before, but it does look like a trend towards fewer casualties.

Hmmm, IBC does indicate that recent time periods are always underreported and will rise over time. So the drop in casualties is somewhat exaggerated.

Actually, I like Mike Huckabee. Seriously. And the Norris endorsement offers to open up a mini-boom in new Chuck Norris jokes.

For example:

Everyone knows the tears of Chuck Norris can cure cancer. But he has never cried. Until watching Hillary Clinton being sworn in as POTUS #44.

Then the tears flowed as if from a fire hydrant.

Norris signed a long term deal with Pzifer and its stock price jumped a brazillian percent.

In fifteen minutes.

I just bet myself an extra piece of a co-workers retirement cake that Bill would be the first to post in this thread.

Bill, you are getting as predictible as Ed Wright.
