Read the comment, saw the Fox News article. I wonder if the mainstream media is either:
a). Bored with the story - ho hum, here we go again or b). More interested in protecting itself as we go into what is going to be a raucous election year. There will more than enough mud-slinging to go around!

Harry Reid has proven to be a very "grey" personality with little dynamism about him. Quite a disapointment really - one really should expect more colour in our political leaders.

No, it's protecting Harry Reid from his idiotic slander of Rush Limbaugh. Believe me, if this were a Republican Senator (particularly in a leadership position) taking quotes out of context to slam a so-called liberal, it would be front-page news, with cries of outrage from the editorial pages for him to retract it.
