Londonistan

I wish that I was surprised about this:

Riyadh ul Haq, who supports armed jihad and preaches contempt for Jews, Christians and Hindus, is in line to become the spiritual leader of the Deobandi sect in Britain. The ultra-conservative movement, which gave birth to the Taleban in Afghanistan, now runs more than 600 of Britain’s 1,350 mosques, according to a police report seen by The Times.

The Times investigation casts serious doubts on government statements that foreign preachers are to blame for spreading the creed of radical Islam in Britain’s mosques and its policy of enouraging [sic] the recruitment of more “home-grown” preachers.

...The Times has gained access to numerous talks and sermons delivered in recent years by Mr ul Haq and other graduates of Britain’s most influential Deobandi seminary near Bury, Greater Manchester.

Intended for a Muslim-only audience, they reveal a deep-rooted hatred of Western society, admiration for the Taleban and a passionate zeal for martyrdom “in the way of Allah”.

You don't say. Are we losing Albion?

Britain's Home Office imported millions of unassimilated people to breed terrorists. No boom today. Boom tomorrow.

Why is this lunatic still here and not in jail?

The British government is looking more and more like the inept Ministry of Magic in the Harry Potter books.

Are we losing Albion?

No, but there may be another English civil war in the offing.

Posted by K at September 7, 2007 11:40 PM

Come to think of it, the comparison I imagined may not be as strong as I first envisioned. Real-life Britain is not weak in criminal investigations - the key area of Ministry of Magic incompetency (Dumbledore's confederates notwithstanding) - but it does suffer from a widespread blindness to evil that exists within plain sight of the general population. Even the MoM would not tolerate public threats against Muggles and Muggle-borns the way a lot of PC types gloss over public support for jihad. A wizarding parallel to the Finsbury Park mosque would have been turned into a pile of pixie dust by now.

Maybe real-life England would be better off with the MoM in control - just as long as there are bright schoolkids and heavily-bearded academics around to do the sleuthing that the government can't do, and as long as they don't hire enemies of the state to guard its maximum-security prisons.

There are three things required to sort out the Finsbury Park mosque - a squad of police (to arrest known rabble-rousers and suspected terrorists and to search the place from top to bottom), a wrecking ball and a bulldozer.

It's long past time to stop messing around with traitors and enemy agents.

Rand,

"We" are not losing Albion. The English are losing themselves. This will (regrettably) continue, until the English people have the will and means to protect the Crown from the betrayals of the English aristocrats (elective and hereditary).

Fletcher, I disagree vehemently with much of your prattlings about the US, but I absolutely agree with your sentiments about the English elite's harboring of violent Muslims. It is almost like they are bought by Arab oil money. Have you any backup plans? A second residence amongst the clans of Scotland, perhaps?

Should the Moon eclipse Albion, the taproot of American culture will be no more.

I still have a little hope - not much, but some.

There is still a strain of the various races, all of them violent, that went to make up this island race, among us. The spirits of Arthur, the Vikings, the Saxons and the Normans - that themselves came from the paladins of Charlemagne and some more of those Vikings - may still rise. Maybe. It will not rise, for sure, from our so-called leaders.

I personally expect the start of the mosque-burnings in less than five years. If this does not happen then Albion is lost - the rest of Europe is lost already.

And if it does, then once again Britain will be a bastion against an alien tyranny, as we have been at least three times in the last five hundred years. Perhaps the country to which we passed the torch will help.

If you won't - well, get used to not eating bacon.
