Maliki is certainly a heck of a lot more rational than all the American politicians who want him to perform dog tricks.
He know what we've got ourselves into, and he loses nothing by opening the spigot wider. The man knows we can get nothing better than him.
What a grand self-inflicted wound.

I sure hope Allawi is wasting his money hiring top notch GOP lobbyists to make the case for his replacing Maliki.
That said, I agree that Levin and Clinton were idiots to have attacked Maliki when and how they did.
But I do wonder if Haley Barbour sent Levin and Hillary a memo about the NIE that provoked their comments.
