Doesn't Take Much To Outsmart A Journalist
You know, if they hired reporters who really knew what they were doing, hilarious things like this might not happen as often. I'm not all that smart, but I'm at least smart enough to know that I won't outsmart a room full of hackers.

I was at another gathering in LV this weekend, and one of the participants set up a cell modem onto a Wi-Fi router so we could check email. He said he didn't bother making it secure since DefCon was in town .....
