Did Dogs Domesticate Man?
An interesting way of looking at it. But if so, they're pikers compared to grass. Grass has bred us over thousands of years to help it spread in all sorts of places where it never would be able to grow otherwise. We grow it for our bread, for our beer and whiskey and sake, for our cereal, and purely for aesthetics. It has us trained well to do its bidding.

More canine propaganda and revisionism. Dogs are natually subservient and found it easier to join humans as slaves than fight them. No wonder they are being compared to the French, they were the first surrender monkeys.
Cats rule.

It sickens me how the pro-feline propaganda clouds the issue. Dogs serve loyally and can serve in far more roles than the fickle, insincere cat. If you want a dog to help you herd sheep, get a collie. If you want an intelligent pet that's good with kids, get a spaniel or a retriever. If you want a good ratter, get a terrier. If you want a lapwarmer, get a poodle or chihuahua. An animal that will guard your stuff? A bulldog or rottweiller.
If you want an animal that will leech off you, get a cat.
I weep every not over the many many families wrecked each year by the villianous cats. It is clear that they're the true French of the pet world!

I was domesticated by a parakeet, myself.
Anybody want a cracker?
