Go To The Kwik-E-Mart

There may be one opening near you. Unfortunately, there aren't any in south Florida, or I'd be tempted to go check it out. Maybe even get a squishee.

I think Orlando is listed... maybe worth a drive?

Posted by GBuc at July 2, 2007 02:17 PM

Nope.

West Palm, Fort Lauderdale, even Miami, sure. But not a two-and-a-half-hour drive.

There's one near me. May post a report!

I'll ask for an experimental Squishy, and see what I sign up for...

Apologies on the double post.

"...not a two-and-a-half-hour drive."

Pish! When I lived in Miami that's how long it took me to get to Orlando. I could make it from Boca in an hour and a half!

"Mommy, why is the rental car glowing?"

Woohoo! There's one over on Northwest Hwy. which is about 20 miles from where I live.

Although I see that they are selling some of the merchandise at nearly 6000 other 7-elevens.

Stupid marketing exec said Duff beer "didn't seem to fit". What next, no honey roasted peanuts?

The one in LA is on Venice, just east of the 405 freeway. I am sipping on my Crystal light strawberry banana flavor squishee even as we speak. Mmmm. Purple.

Now off to barbecue things with alumni. I'm saving the cup.

Ah, Palms District.

I wish I were there to have one with you. My webmaster lives a few blocks from there.

Just hit the one in Bladensburg. Lots of people around taking pictures. Brilliant marketing. Lots of Simpsons' characters around, along with plenty of signage "Quimby for Mayor" "Meet Radioactive Man", etc. Got a Squishee, and a buddy got one along with a pink-frosting'd donut with multi-color sprinkles.

You couldn't set the Squishee machine to 'experimental' so I'm relatively coherent.
