George Tenet (Part Deux)

Rich Lowry has read his book. So, with an even more devastating review, has Christopher Hitchens. In a rational and well-read world, he wouldn't be being lionized by the media. But in the real, Bush-deranged world, he probably will continue to be.

Is he being lionized by the media? I heard him get trashed by a whole bunch of ex-agency guys on NPR today. It seems this is catching on.

I think a lot of folks who didn't feel convinced in 2003, just played along because they felt it was a safe bet and didn't want to lose out if it all worked out great. Now they want to "tell the truth." Shame.

They certainly pitched softballs at him on Sixty Minutes.

But in the real, Bush-deranged world, he probably will continue to be.

I wouldn't say lionized, but he's definately a sounding a call upon which they can all use to bash bush.

After 5+ years of bashing him, now he's a hero because he speeks truthiness to power.

They did the same thing with would be pedophile/ephebophile scott ritter, and damn near sociopath joe wilson. Doesn't matter if you murder baby's to the left, that is beside the point, what is important is speaking truth to power, which actually means, bashing Republicans.

Maybe he and wolfowitz can donate their medals of freedom
to the Salvation Army

CURSES! I meant "sounding a clarions call" not my crappy wording.

If you knew nothing about Tenet and his book, you could easily guess that they are somehow serving the MSM party line just by observing the Tenet media blitz. It's all Tenet, all the time! Think his book would be getting this much publicity if it presented, say, evidence that Saddam got rid of his WMDs prior to the invasion by giving them to al Quaida?
