I understand that a road bridge collapsed yesterday in California, due to a gasoline tanker that burned on it. Even to the point of melting some of the bolts. Of course, that's nonsense. There must have been explosive charges set on the bridge. After all, fire can't melt steel...

Who told me this? A metalurgist? A firefighter? A structrural engineer? A steel plant worker? A blacksmith? Nah, how could they possibly know such things better than a talk show host who may never have even soldered two wires together...?
