Is There A Bluetooth Expert In The House?

If one has Vonage, and a bluetooth dongle on the computer, is it possible to use a the same bluetooth headset that one uses with one's cell phone with it? If so, what's involved?

Just in case anyone else had the same question down the line; and for posterity, even though I already e-mailed it to you...

From Vonage's Web Site:

Can I use my Bluetooth headset with the V-Phone?

The V-Phone works great with Bluetooth headsets! If your PC has Bluetooth enabled you can configure your V-Phone to use a Bluetooth headset just by selecting that audio de-vice in the Settings Window.

Open the Settings Window in the Vonage Talk application. The Microphone and Speaker selections have a pull-down menu to let you easily change them to use another de-vice. Select the de-vice named “Bluetooth Audio” (or something similar) for both the Microphone and Speaker, then click OK. Turn on your Bluetooth headset and you are ready to make calls.

Unless, of course, that's one of Verizon's patents that Vonage infringed on, in which case, who knows if it'll work.

Of course, you mentioned that your computer can't even see the headset. To which my response was going to be "Aye, there's the rub, innit?"

What model headset and BT dongle?

I'm afraid you'll probably need two Blueteeth.

I'm not a Bluetooth expert, but I play one on TV. *shiny tooth smile*
