"Bush's followers are still scarier"
Only to someone completely devoid of all common sense.

You know, Jonathan Chait is excellent at sardonic, insightful commentary on the foolish things other people do, or have done. (It's a very good article.) But he never has anything useful to say about what the right thing to do next might be.
Chait is like the ultimate back-seat driver. He can't drive the car and won't navigate, but he'll wittily and instantly tell you the moment you do something dumb.
I hate people like that. Life's sidewalk supervisors.

I would love it if "the left" managed to understand that it's far too early to claim defeat.
Or do they really believe they know the final result yet? Would that be the final result of 2010, 2015, 2020, or ...?
Then again I'm a Bush supporter and supposedly scary so I guess it doesn't matter, I mean that's what is most important right? Being for or against Bush?
