Tone Deaf Reason number 5,352 why Hillary probably is unelectable: "I also want to send a message, if we ever do have to take more drastic action, to the rest of the world that we exhausted all possibilities," said Clinton, who earlier rapped President Bush for refusing to engage Tehran.Posted by Rand Simberg at February 02, 2007 07:38 AM TrackBack URL for this entry:

And why does that make Hillary unelectable? Do you think Jewish vote will go to her opponent? However irrational it is, at least three quarters of American Jews still feel wedded to Democratic Party. Posted by Ilya at February 2, 2007 10:34 AMAs a group, non-religious Jews are idiots about politics. As a group, non-religious Jews are idiots about politics. I'm sure this would be news to secular Jews who live, work and fight for the continuance of Israel. And as with any country, secularists do exist in Israel. Hillary, as usual, doesn't play to her strengths and fails, because she simply doesn't have any. She is a hollow husk kept inflated only by her own hot air. If she'd ever met Orville Redenbacher, he'd have fallen in love. He'd have filled her with corn and set her at a microphone or podium, to see how much corn she'd make in an hour, but he'd have loved her. Posted by Steve at February 2, 2007 12:38 PM"If she'd ever met Orville Redenbacher, he'd have fallen in love." Heh. This is what I like. Since we're going to have virulent public debate, let's be clever about it rather than loud, rude, and obnoxious. Posted by Jeff Mauldin at February 2, 2007 01:43 PMSimberg would love her if she swore to invade Iran. Posted by anonymous at February 2, 2007 02:37 PMI'm getting a little tired of Hillary exhaulting "someone think of the children" or some variation of "it takes a village" in every other campaign speech. She really needs to get herself a new speechwriter, her polemic is becoming increasingly boring and monotonic. Having some actual policy at some stage probably wouldn't hurt either. Posted by Adrasteia at February 2, 2007 04:58 PMWe now have reason 5353 why she's uneletable. Hitlary has stated, in her speech to the DNC, that she wants to take the $39 billion profits from Exxon-Mobil and put them in a blah, blah, blah, bla... It doesn't matter WHAT she wants to do with them! She's advocating, as a Presidential candidate, seizing money from a publicly owned company, without so much as a twitch from the crowd. How does she think she can do this? Under what authority can she seize legal profits, from a legal company, made from selling a legal product? If this doesn't show the similarities in what the DNC really thinks and in the old Soviet system I don't know what will. click my name to see her. Jeff, Rand, i disagree, $39 billion Exxon-Mobil profits.. hmm guess she dont know or care that they payed nearly 100 Billion in taxes. Post a comment |
