At Least He's Consistently Nuts I picked up Jimmy Carter's new book, Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid at San Francisco airport, and zipped through it in a day. It's a good, strong read by the only American president approaching sainthood. Emphasis mine. I'll bet he typed this completely unironically. He also thinks that the Brookings Institution is a "right wing think tank." Posted by Rand Simberg at December 26, 2006 07:33 AMTrackBack URL for this entry:

Maybe Fisk is part Native American. Many tribes believe that anyone who is crazy is touched by the Gods. Carter looks fairly touched alright. Posted by Steve at December 26, 2006 08:39 AM"Peace, not Apartheid"...works for me. "Peace"...that's "make a desert and call it", right? Posted by Jason Bontrager at December 26, 2006 07:00 PMwhy not a reasoned discussion of the book? Posted by anonymous at December 26, 2006 07:39 PM"the only American president approaching sainthood" Satan has saints? Posted by Barbara Skolaut at December 26, 2006 07:39 PMI would have disagree'd at first saying "he's not nuts, he's retarded" but then, I realized, he isn't either. He is a DELIBERATE ENEMY OF AMERICA! Not even retards, can articulate thoughts so totaly retarded in a way so fluid, and commonly understood, without deliberate acceptance of their own treasonous aspect. TREASON!!! SPEACH can be treason, and the 1st doesn't cover that, no matter how much the court is stacked with delibertately retarded accademics. I so hate so much about this nation, while loving so much more of it. Posted by Mike Puckett at December 27, 2006 10:00 AMPuckett you like the jackboots far too much you keep them. As for Simberg, he seems very disturbed that A President who wins the peace prize for the From "wickedpinto": Wickedpinto, Yes, speech could be treasonous, if it constituted some sort of military intervention against the USA. Telling the Germans in advance about the schedule for the "D-Day Invasion" would have been a "treasonous act of speech". Expressing concern about the behavior of the government in an openly published book is not such an act. -dave w Posted by dave w at December 29, 2006 12:35 PM"Puckett you like the jackboots far too much you keep them." Anonymous Jew-Hater, It don't fit me at all, I am more into Tanker boots or Jungle Boots myself. I am fond of Danners too. I have a piar of Danner hiking boots that are the cats PJ's. I strongly suspect you yourself are a living last for Jackbootery. If the Jackboot fits, wear it mein Furher! Posted by Mike Puckett at December 29, 2006 02:26 PMPost a comment |
