Evolution In Action Fortunately, she didn't take anyone with her. Behold, a woman who killed herself putting on makeup behind the wheel: "There was makeup all over the air bag," said a police source. I suspect that she raised the average IQ of New York City, and the rest of the world, too. Not sure whether it rates a Darwin, though, it doesn't say whether or not she'd bred. Hey, at least with all that fresh makeup on, the guy at the funeral home won't have to do much. Posted by Astrosmith at December 22, 2006 09:53 AMI suspect that she raised the average IQ of New York City... Of Westchester County. Posted by D Anghelone at December 22, 2006 10:29 AMGeeze, as though Rand and all of you are Einstein reincarnate. For all I know, she may have been the friendliest, nicest woman I could have ever known. Mocking her death just shows what type of people you jerks are. Posted by X at December 23, 2006 03:15 AMDo you deny, X, that it is indeed a mockable death? Anyway, shouldn't you be out saying "shame, shame" to warbloggers talking about that al Qaeda mullah our forces recently sent to his just reward? Posted by McGehee at December 23, 2006 08:49 AMX, the fact you think the US is some evil totlaitarian force shows what a deranged idiot you are. I feel bad about almost any traffic fatality providing they are wearing their seatbelts. If you drive and don't buckle up, you get what you deserve. Posted by Mike Puckett at December 23, 2006 03:35 PMThe consolation here is that she didn't take anyone else with her. I agree with Mike; if you get killed in an automobile accident having taken no precautions, and especially while not taking notice of the road and traffic (for whatever reason - the favourite appears to be talking on a mobile phone) then you deserve all you get. Let's hope she didn't have kids, for two reasons; no kids left without a mother and no transmission of her obviously inferior genes. There is a little story that I heard a little while ago. On one of the UK's motorways (interstates would be the closest in the US I suppose) a patrol car arrested someone, who didn't realise, even when it was pointed out, that he was doing anything wrong. What was he doing? Driving at 93mph (legal limit here is 70) in heavy rain and spray, with visibility of about 50 yards max. Not only that, but driving while talking on a mobile (held between shoulder and face) and taking notes on a pad propped up on the wheel. With driving like that, he's probably dead now. let's hope he didn't take anyone else with him. Posted by Fletcher Christian at December 24, 2006 06:06 AMI have to ask this - she wasn't blonde, was she?
I have to ask this - she wasn't blonde, was she? It's possible, but given her name, if she was, it likely came from a bottle. Posted by Rand Simberg at December 26, 2006 05:00 AMPost a comment |
