Too Much Credibility

IBD has some questions about the fLying imams, and their defenders:

Their actions undermine any good will and trust Muslim leaders have built since 9/11. And they call into question what we really know about these supposedly virtuous men we invite to the White House and other halls of power in gestures of tolerance.

Are they really moderate? Do they really mean it when they renounce terrorism? Do they really have America's best interests at heart?

In many cases, the answer would appear to be, sadly, no.

I would hope the FBI would put th eproper resources into
tracking known terrorist supporters and their
fellow travelers.

Frankly, 6 terrorists attempting to cause trouble just
serve to identify themselves for further surveillance.

Of course, that assumes competence in the DoJ and FBI.

The 9 months before 9/11, AG Ashcroft had more FBI
agents working the Canal Street Brothel in New Orleans
then working counter-terrorism.

Not that Simberg will ever point that out.

Nor will anonymoron point out that Clinton did nothing during his 96 months in office to stop the 9/11 attacks that were planned on his watch.

What pre-9/11 action by Bush would anonymous have approved of?

Since the answer is "none", anonymous doesn't get to complain because he got his way.

(anonymous) In the previous post by Rand, you called the Administration (particularly TSA) facists for kicking the Imams off who were probably doing nothing. I had to correct you and point out that the passengers and crew kicked the Imams off. Now you are saying the FBI should put more resources into surveillance of these type of guys.

Of course the imams should have been allowed onto a plane.

To wherever they came from. Single ticket.
