No brainer time.
Researchers say that chemical compounds in the wine benefit the cardiovascular system and medical chemists have been working to isolate what those compounds are. The answer?
Drink more wine. See, I told you it was a no brainer.

I've yet to see any mention of the fact that the alcohol in the wine is still bad for the cardiovascular system. So, could be a zero sum benefit in the end. Which would still put you well ahead heart wise if your a red wine drinker versus a beer drinker. I get in a wine mood every once in a while but when I go to the beer/wine store the cool suds in the back usually call my name and I must answer.

I'm not bias. I'll drink a wine, beer, cocktail, or shot of liquor. I just avoid mixing them in a single night.
