Boo...Hoo

News producers being laid off at SeeBS. It's like what you call a thousand lawyers at the bottom of the ocean--a good start.

I have an idea. Why don't they shut down their entire evening news cast at CBS. Have Katie Colic come on and say, "...this just in, George Bush still sucks. Thanks and goodnight from CBS News". Then they can use the rest of the time to show reruns of Kookla, Fran and Ollie.

Except for Fran and the puppets, little would be changed.

Well, there's always room for another CSI spinoff...

Are the broadcast networks still doing news? And if so, why?
