Still Busy

Patricia and I are kid sitting this weekend while their parents go to Key West for the weekend, for their first vacation alone since the kids were born. They're six and eight (almost nine) and a lovable handful. Doesn't leave much time for blogging.

I do have to say, though, that if USC beats Notre Dame tonight and then loses next week to UCLA, you can't imagine how hard I'll laugh...

[Watching game]

I should obligatorily add, that I really, really hate having to root for Notre Dame...

But it's 21-10 now, favor USC.

I'm an optimist and a Bruin alumna and even I don't think UCLA is going to win next week. But I'll wear my blue and gold anyway.

I'm rooting for USC to beat Notre Dame this week and for my Bruins to play at 120% of their demonstrated talent to upset the quite good trojans. Our quarterback is improving every week, but we'll need a Tommy Maddox like performance to pull this one off. I hope that Karl Dorrel will coach more aggressively ... he might have pulled off the Notre Dame upset if he went for the kill in the 4th quarter instead of playing conservative.

Fred says: Bruins to play at 120% of their demonstrated talent to upset the quite good trojans.

Hmm, well the line is at 13-14 points, so at 120% that will knock the line down to 9.....still in favor of the Trojans.....:)
