It Was Inevitable

Indiana Jones has been denied tenure.

It hardly surprises me. In fact, it reminds me of this lawsuit.

Dr. Jones, you were seen with a handgun according to a single source I won't name for you.

Your tenure is denied. I've begun the dismissal procedure.
And the police have been notified.

Have a nice day.

Supplemental finding:

It is important to note that I have also had breakfast meetings with former students of Professor Jones who have sought me out to state that in no uncertain terms should he be given tenure given his personal style, high strung and intense personality, and his loudness when counseling students. I even confirmed these student concerns with my own objective survey of students having had classes with Professor Jones. The bottom line is that Professor Jones is simply not tenure material.

It amazing this school even stays in business. What would people sign up for archeology for if it weren't for the lure of being able to whip bad guys in the face? I mean, I think there is a lot of merit to the study of airplane propellers and their effect on the human torso. Or, the forces exerted on the forehead when exposed to a tank tread. Let's not forgot the tremendous volume of data gleaned by studying the angular momentum of a motorcycle driven pole lancing a Nazi in the chest.
