The "wondrous accomplishments achieved by the Human Beings of Planet Earth" should include the following:

- Representative elected government
- Law rooted in individual liberty
- Rule of law
- Equality under the law
- The printing press, broadcast media, and the Internet, each of which vastly elevated the average citizen's intellectual life and potential to influence society

Suggesting (again) that you fix the registration mail server for the bulletin board at evoloterra.com -- then send everybody with a login a note to let us know that it's fixed and we can now participate there.

In that case, how far back should the celebration look back? Writing, the wheel, and the lever? Or keep it a bit more recent, to include the telescope, Newton's and Leibnitz' calculus, and general relativity?
