Watch Out For Exploding Moonbat Heads Brit Hume and Drudge are both reporting that Bob Novak is going to reveal that his source for Valerie Plame's identity was her husband. Doesn't seem like that great a source to me, but I guess at the time it wasn't apparent what a liar he was. Posted by Rand Simberg at July 11, 2006 03:58 PMTrackBack URL for this entry:

No, you mean Joe Wilson gives out national intelligence to the press? I would have never thought he would do such a thing. Posted by Leland at July 11, 2006 04:06 PMThen Joe Wilson should be charged with libel too. He said repeatedley to the courts tht he IS NOT the source. Posted by Steve at July 11, 2006 05:04 PMAccording to Drudge: Novak revealed one of the sources was Rove. The other source is unknown. Novak attributed the two sources as "two senior administration officials" Don't you think it was rather premature to label Joe Wilson a "liar" based on your sources? Perhaps you will find some other reason to villify Wilson instead. Posted by Kevin Parkin at July 11, 2006 07:34 PMMan, I'm pretty disappointed that Wilson is not going to be frog-walked into jail. This sucks. And I just read that the US is going to follow the Geneva Convention at Gitmo. For terrorists?! Who should be shot?!!! This country is going to hell in a handbasket. Posted by Bob Shaw at July 11, 2006 08:43 PMDon't you think it was rather premature to label Joe Wilson a "liar" based on your sources? It has been long established that Joe Wilson is a liar, Kevin. The Senate Intelligence Committee issued a report documenting it. Posted by Rand Simberg at July 11, 2006 10:02 PMIf Wilson repeatedly said in court - presumably under oath - that he was not the source, and it now turns out that he in fact was the source, is that not perjury? Posted by Ed Minchau at July 12, 2006 02:28 AMKevin, Joe Wilson said several times to the Senate Sub-Commitee that he never talked to Bob Novak about his wife. It's been repeated 10,00 times by every talking head on TV as part of the official record. That's my sorce, the OFFICIAL CONGRESSIONAL RECORD OF HIS TESTIMONY!! If that's not good enough for you, well... Bob said: And I just read that the US is going to follow the Geneva Convention at Gitmo. For terrorists?! Who should be shot?!!! I agree with you, but the US is just covering its political behind now. We keep saying we're at war, so we have to treat prisoners by our own conventions. Had we taken them out on the battlefield, we wouldn't have these problems now, but we wouldn't have gotten some others either. The prisoners have provided some good info for us too. Mac Posted by Mac at July 12, 2006 07:14 AM"We keep saying we're at war, so we have to treat prisoners by our own conventions." Only to face a political reality...that being to curry the favor of the moonbats running the EU. A terrorist simply does not meet the criteria defined by the Geneva Convention as a combatant. The GC protects combatants, parties, militias, militaries of NATIONS. A terrorist has no allegiance to any nation or set of nations against which we have declared war upon. The problem is the GC really needs an amendment...and who would want to do that? Posted by siege at July 12, 2006 09:35 AMOnly to face a political reality...that being to curry the favor of the moonbats running the EU. Well put Siege... Perhaps the EU is afraid we could label the UN as terrorists and lock them up too!! Cool!! Mac Posted by Mac at July 12, 2006 09:40 AMPost a comment |
