How Did They Miss That?

Thomas Lifson points out demonstrations in Spain in which the media seem to have no interest. I wonder why? Oh, yeah:

Something between 200,000 and one million people took to the streets of Madrid (see photo) for a demonstration against appeasement of terrorists.

No news value there, I guess.

Oh, ignorance of the American media to the outside world is nothing new, and certainly not unique to this particular administration.

This isn't about American media ignorance of the outside world. They were very pleased to cover protests in Europe a few years ago--when they were protests against the Bush administration, and against removing a terroristic tyrant from power.

It's not the locale--it's the cause.

Yes, well, they're not covering the NSA social engineering thing either. I think one can put two and two together this time.

Ignore the following random algoritm fodder btw, i'm just trying to get you on the auto-no-fly-list.

The locale have dealt with a 40 year terrorist internal campaign which has recently revived. Trying to tie this into other stuff is basically inept.

They were in the news here.

It's european people demonstrating about european matters and if they don't burn a thousand cars, it's probably not noted much elsewhere.
