Religion Of Intimidation
Australian model Michelle Leslie explains why she wore a burqa. Unfortunately, even wearing one isn't sufficient to prevent abuse of women, since it's endemic. But hey, it's just another culture, right? And cultures are good.

The predominant religion in Bali is a branch of Hinduism. 92% of the people follow that religion.
Did you mean the "rapist" on the end of her bed was Moslem, because she was wearng a burqa? Or that rape was endemic in Moslem countries? You lost me.

I'm assuming that the creature in her jail cell was Muslim, if only because too many Muslim men are raised to believe that any dhimmi woman deserves to be raped. Sweden is having a particular problem with this right now.

We don't know the details here. My bet is that she wisely listened to someone's advice. I see no reason for the guard to be muslim, but he probably had muslim coworkers. It's not smart in a high risk environment like a prison to alienate your coworkers.

I should perhaps add that Michelle Leslie converted to Islam some years previous, though apparently she is no longer a practising Muslim...
Bali is predominantly Hindu, but Indonesia of which Bali is a part is predominantly Muslim.

The arabs have gone backwards since the 15th century.
What amazes me is why the Sophisticated European
Jews wanted to live in the Middle East.
Lousy Climate, Nasty neighborhood, not a lot of
advantages.
