Idle Question

We went to see an exhibit of Chihuli glass at the Saint Louis Botanical Garden on Sunday. In watching the video of the artist working, we wondered why he didn't have a glass eye. Just think of all the cool possibilities.

I saw a program on PBS about this, showing them creating all of the glass pieces, arranging them, etc. I saw a piece that focused on exhibits in Seattle, Venice, and on some river in a dutch village, I think. Watching it in HD was almost as good as being there, but I can only imagine how much more spectacular these are to witness in person, walk around, see from all angles, etc.
