Camp Runnamok

PC Runnamok, that is. A discussion on a lost hat in Park Slope. It's simultaneously hilarious, and sad.

Rand,

I’m sorry, I know that you are just trying to be helpful, but what makes this “PC Runnamok”? Did you see the idiot loose it? Or does the drivel in question possess an unmistakable scent of political correctness?

It’s innocent little comments like this that I find the most hurtful…

What does this comment imply about the dailykos troll who chooses to drool just such drivel (or something like it)? Is it doing something wrong? Is there something wrong with it?

It's bad enough that insensitive, gender-specific individuals stereotype clothing, but then when other persons comment on the stereotyping and subsequent personal narratives by using "loose" when the proper term is "lose"...well, that just really gets my knickers in a twist!

As the guru Mahatma Coat said as he walked down the streets of Calcutta behind a sacred cow, "Holy shit!"

I'm really bothered by insensitive people. When I hit them in the face, I want it to hurt.
