Milestone

SpaceX apparently had a successful static test firing at Kwajalein today. I assume that this means they're go for launch sometime in the next few days.

D'oh!

As a commenter points out, this is old news. I should have double checked it first.

You're right. My source was someone on sci.space.history. I didn't check the date on the link. But it is supposed to happen sometime very soon.

They had a static firing scheduled for March 17 or 18; I have not seen confirmation of it. Perhaps that is what you heard? Launch is due between March 20-25 .

Elon will be at the 25th ISDC in Los Angeles in 6 weeks. You can get details of the conference at isdc.nss.org. Rand... which end of the continent are you on first week of May?
