What Was The Rush?

Ireland has finally gotten around to repealing laws against the Irish imposed by the English from the era of the Norman invasion.

Another good argument for sunset clauses...

Letting them have chain mail is one thing, but armor? Now that's going too far.

Ireland is ot the only place archaic laws exist.

A few years ago, here in Raleigh, NC, the PETA crowd tried to stop the Ringling brothers Circus from doing the traditional animal walk when the train got to town. All based on a hundrerd year old law saying it was unlawful to let elephants walk down the street.

Luckily the elephants didn't try to marry any of our local women, or wear any armor.
