More On The Moron

Yup, it's God's wrath:

"If Christians would read the Bible, instead of just watching TV, they would understand that people who claim to know exactly why God does what He does are usually false teachers,” said Mr. Robertson. “God disciplines American Christians for their willful ignorance of the Scriptures by having me embarrass them every 60 days or so with another ridiculous remark.”

At least we aren't at the fire raining from the sky stage of divine wrath. Maybe Homeland Security could keep us up on the state of divine wrath. Between the intelligence community and private experts like Pat Robertson, we should be able to gauge his mood.

Maybe Homeland Security could keep us up on the state of divine wrath.

Actually, I think DHS already has that covered. I believe we're currently at "Plague of Boils."

"If Christians would read the Bible, instead of just watching TV

What, and lower your viewer ratings?

they would understand that people who claim to know exactly why God does what He does are usually false teachers” said Mr. Robertson, clearly stating that Sharon was being punished by God....which is exactly what God is doing...so Pat's a false teacher....okay.

“God disciplines American Christians for their willful ignorance of the Scriptures by having me embarrass them every 60 days or so with another ridiculous remark.”

Actually, God might be punishing Mr Robertson for being a false teacher by his own definition, by allowing him to make ridiculous remarks.

Makes an interesting bookend to the Islamist fundamentalists who claim that Katrina (and the rest of last year's hurricane season ) was The Wrath Of God against America.

And people wonder why I'm an agnostic...

Mac, the "quote" is satirical- as well as right on target.

Unfortuunately, btw, nobody such as myself who hosts his blog at a certain popular engine in which the word "Blog" is followed by "spot" is allowed to give their URL's, since for some reason which escapes me the first six letters in its name are deemed "questionable content."
