No Dumb Deed Goes Unpunished
I don't know what John McCain thought he would accomplish by agreeing to meet with Momma Moonbat, but I doubt if it was this.

Another example of dumb deed going unpunished. Will the dumbness ever end????

All you Arizona voters need to remember all this nutty left leaning stuff at your next vote for Sen. McCain.
He's off the reservation, he's lost touch with the Right, he's lost his ever loving mind, from a Conservative stand point.

He should of lost his senate seat because of his campaign finance reform idiocy, but he's still there, maybe he'll be ejected next time around.

I'm partial to the campaign finance arguments myself, but is there a need to have a moonbat-lenght fuse on this matter, in other words waiting exactly no time before starting in on the need to punish the man?
I offer a kind interpretation of this admittedly silly-ass little fiasco--by going ahead and meeting with the grieving, yet simultaneously cold and calculating Gold Star Moonbat, McCain has inoculated, to some extent, the President from any affect this months-long bit of street theater might have on public opinion.
In other words, it has been demonstrated that Cindy Sheehan expects, and will accept, only the answers which she has previously stated to the press that she wants, and so there is no point in any official having any truck with her. Why should they?
We don't pay office holders to waste their time participating in any one groups' political stunts. No one at this point could plausibly suggest any other outcome should the President do the same as Senator McCain. I think he did the President a favor.

Arrgggh. For "lenght", read 'length', and for "affect", please read 'effect'.

It appears that McCain was blind sided on this one.
LGF has the scoop here.
That said: McCain, IMNSHO, is totally unpredictable and I do not trust him at all.
Don't know what he learned at the Hanoi Hilton, but I worry... alot.

Maybe he did get what he wanted. Getting dissed by Sheehan could be a way to score brownie points with conservatives.
