Loony
Thomas James investigates and dissects the moonbat space agenda.
[Late morning update]
A commenter asks what a "moonbat" is. Short answer is a leftist idiotarian. Here's a picture of the subspecies barking moonbat, but google the word and you'll come up with plenty of examples and more images.

How come every group in this genre seems to routinely have a list of unalterable "demands"? I guess the no compromise attitude plays well at the fundraisers, but it's not the sort of thing that generates action. But then these groups aren't about actually changing things.

...Ban the use of nuclear power in space...
YES, WE MUST BAN THE SUN! Do you know how dangerous that thing is? Do you realize that noone has come within a million miles of it and survived? DEATH TO THE SUN!
BTW, what the heck is a moonbat? Did you make that up?

Except their bank balances.

"moonbat" versus "wingnut" - - its like "Spy v Spy" from Mad magazine.
The origin of wingnut? Those guys only spin to the right. ;-)

All the wing nuts I've any experience with spin both directions, Bill. You turn them right to hold things together, and left to take them apart...

Touche!

"Moonbat" is nicely euphonious and evocative. AFAIK its origin is the name "Georges Monbiot", which you should google. The prototype, as it were.

I first saw the term on Samizdata. I figured it was British slang.

Strengthen existing international space laws that call for collective use of celestial bodies
Isn't that how the Alliance got started in the "Firefly" series?
You can't take the sky from me...
