You Mean It Isn't Karl Rove?

And now for something completely different: a local television meteorologist who thinks that hurricanes are being created by the Yakuza as revenge for Hiroshima.

Does "Four Finger" Stevens know the penalty for bringing dishonor?

Sounds like he needs to tighten the straps on his foil hat.

Score one for Rand: Forecaster leaves job to pursue weather theories

I am sure he will turn up soon on 'coast to coast'.

Mike, he was on Coast to Coast the day after Katrina hit New Orleans.

A big part of his theory seems to be built around apparent right-angle structures in weather satellite imagery.

(Can you say "jpeg image compression artifact?")

Hmmmm- he is right about the second hit.

If the Japanese are willing to wait 60 years to seek revenge for Hiroshima, why stop there? Perhaps hurricanes are being caused by native Americans as revenge for Wounded Knee? And that is why I cannot help but feel there is a connection to the beaver statue thief story just under it.....

I never ceases to amaze me that people who are absolutely crazy can still function normally in so many areas of their lives.

This guy isn't just a sandwich shy of a picnic, he's missing the whole picnic basket.

He also know zip about weather, climate, and the sheer size of the earth and its atmosphere if he actually believes this crap. I hope he's just a "weatherman"; if he is a real meteorologist, where'd he get his degree - through the mail?

Methinks he needs to up his meds....

The Haliburton weather satelite from Superman III strikes again!
