SpaceX Reporting
Defense Industry Daily has a rundown on current plans for SpaceX, and their leap directly from Falcon 1 to Falcon 9. They don't mention the recent engine test failure, though.
It's also amusing that they describe Mike Griffin as "...a former NASA exec and president of the venture-capital firm In-Q-Tel."
I'm pretty sure he has a new job now.

"If anyone can do it, says Mike Griffin, a former NASA exec and president of the venture-capital firm In-Q-Tel, "Elon can. He has an incredible track record."
Editor's note: I seem to recall hearing that Griffin has a new job ...

Well, actually, if I'm in Florida (as I was) then the time that I post things is actually three hours later than when they appear (because the blog posts occur on Pacific time). So I posted a few minutes before Keith did. I know mine wasn't copying his, because mine was based on an email from someone at Defense Industry Daily. I doubt if his was a result of mine either, unless he checks my site on an almost minute-to-minute basis (something that I would find improbable, for him or any other intelligent person).
It's called "coincidence," or "great minds thinking alike."

(sigh) David is in NASA Watch nitpicking mood these days - someone directed me to David's post here.
Meanwhile, I am really getting lazy. I got two heads up emails about this item. I did not have to go looking for it - it found me. I have no idea how my sources became aware of it. Alas, in addition, one of my web scanning robots found it too - so I will beat the truth out of that dam bot.
As for the similarity in comments, Rand has already addressed that.
BTW the website modified their article to reflect their error.
