The End Of The War

We've been commemorating sixtieth anniversaries of World War II for a few years now, starting back in September 1999, with the anniversary of the invasion of Poland. Who felt that the Soviet Union wasn't really much of a threat, and that it was our bases as much as Soviet intentions that kept Europe divided.

So, there have always been those around who felt that our mere presence overseas is the problem.
