Turnabout Is Fair Play

Since the dawn of history, mankind has feared comets. Now they have reason to fear us. Pretty spectacular fireworks for the 4th of July.

You know, if Dr. Griffin wants to beef up NASA's in-house expertise, he should have the folks that put together that "Reach" PSA do a recruitment commercial. I'm thinking snippets of scenes from a probe, followed by the mission control folks whooping it up, interspersed with a few other things (a sounding rocket launch is surprisingly impressive!). End with either, "What other job can you have this much fun doing?" -- for the younger set; or "Do you have this much fun at your current job?" for the more experienced.

Now, personally, I wish it were possible to have that much fun in through numerous commerical space exploration ventures, but if the Gov't is going to use my tax dollars anyway, I certainly want a very deep brain trust giving us the most for our money.
