It's A Quagmire

A couple loons from Minnesota who were protesting global warming in the Arctic got bogged down in a blizzard. I love the smell of irony in the morning.

Way to go, north pole.

There is a God and he certainly has a devine sense of humor.

A year and a half ago Al Gore, inventor of the internet, gave a speech on what was nearly the coldest day on record in NYC:

This is the sort of thing which makes me so happy. If these morons had died in the attempt, I would have to mute any outward signs of pleasure. As it stands, they are alive, and must spend the rest of their lives answering wiseass questions such as, "Well, how did that crossing of the Arctic to protest global warming work out for you?"

Posted by Mike James at June 4, 2005 09:12 AM

2 guys and Greenpeace plan a trip across
the Arctic to prove Global Warning

Planning and Logistics : $250,000.00

Survival Gear and Food; $ 50,00.00

Weather and Communcations Radios: $15,00.00

Getting stopped by weather thats too cold while trying to prove Global Warming: Priceless

Anecdotal evidence is good for blog postings and sometimes a laugh or two, but it does nothing by itself to disprove things. The mean temperature of Earth has been increasing. Though, beyond that it is somewhat difficult to attribute the rise to something particular.

Mean temperature? Try Phoenix, it's not just mean, it's angry.

A question for environmental loons... do you know the difference between heat and temperature?
