Back To Flatland
I took a redeye back from CA last night, and am suffering from a combination of sleep deprivation and an attack from the netherworld between life and death (i.e., a virus). Sore throat, cough, and a nose that runs like a Congressman from a Cessna.
Maybe back on line later.

That's some nose!
Seriously, Rand, glad you made it home safely, if not in the best of shape.
Get some rest. We'll be here when you get back.

I found your blog form Pajama Media's Insider Update.
If you got the infection on the flight, it's because the recirculated air on planes is too dry and germ laden. I never leave Hawai'i now (born and raised in Forida) because of that. The only partial sol'n is to keep your nasal passages moist and use Zicam proactively. Plus all the other healthy stuff like vitamin C, etc.
