Domains Missing In Action

First Clark Lindsey, and now Lileks. Do the end times approach?

[Update at 11:45 AM EDT]

Hobby space is back up. Lileks is still down, though.

Clark writes at 1:00 am CDT Friday:

The domain name was to expire on Thursday and Earthlink says their automatic domain renewal process with register.com failed for some of their accounts. It could take 24-72 hours to fix!

I will keep a status notice posted at www.spacehservices.com until HS returns.

I was able to reach it. 10:30 CDT, Friday.

Lileks' domain doesn't expire until 22-APR-08, so it's not that.

I feel like I should call his house, in case he's fallen and can't get up.

Lileks probably got hacked by people wanting to make sure that picture from Monday gets destroyed.

I've been having problems with hobbyspace and my own blog, but when I couldn't get google I decided it was time to run spyware products. Right after, google was available.

If this is malicious s/w, I'd really like to shoot somebody... or get a firing squad together.

I use spybot and adaware.
