That is interesting, one of the posters stated that Branson could begin offering trans-US flights like a Seattle/Miami route and then build up to longer routes, eventually replacing the routes offered from the Concorde. I think that could be a substantially bigger market than a simple vertical, sub-orbital ride. Very interesting...

Nothing special about Seattle/Miami except it's the longest route possible within the continental USA, which means you can work up to it gradually. And it's not *that* much shorter than the shortest trans-Atlantic route.
