Tornado Blogging

Well, actually I hope not, but northern Alabama does seem to be looking down the barrel of what's going on in Mississipi tonight.

Hope it missed you, but I am also convinced that if we look at the hyperspectral data from an overhead shot that a target and the words "Yoo Hoo, Mr. Tornado, hit here" will be found over Huntsville.

Many years ago, I was on a business trip at Marshall. During the evening, I checked out the visitor center. To make a long story short, I was invited back to see the premier of a new IMAX movie, "Stormchasers". I learned that evening, though I never expected it, that the area is considered part of tornado alley and receives its own share of violent weather. I wish you and the center well.

Rand probably just watched the local news which predicts a Tornado about every 30 seconds.
