Sounds reasonable to me. Hitler was an extreme jerk who unfortunately got control of a major country with the best military tradition in the world. There's a potential Hitler in the gutters of every city in the world. And a lot of the faculty clubs.

Never happen if Lawrence Summers is ever overheard saying either of those things. But if he were to be heard denying them...
