Can there be a jot without a tittle?

Hmmmm. Well, I've seen jots in the bulk candy aisle at the supermarket (generic M&M's), but nary a tittle.

I wonder what a candy tittle would look like?

I've always wondered if there was some sort of quatum mechanical binding that requires every nook to be paired with a cranny.

Even if a jot has no tittles to speak of, there is a common procedure that jots can have performed in order to get their tittles enhanced.
