Better Than Bono
The president is going to nominate Paul Wolfowitz to head the World Bank. This will make certain persons' heads explode. I hope.
I know that schadenfreude is an unworthy emotion, but one of the biggest reasons that I wanted to see Bush reelected was because it would make the moonbats so foaming-at-the-mouth, furiously nuts.

Well, I'm for anything that gets Wolfowitz out of the Department of Defense. With Rumsfeld stepping down in a year or two, things are looking better. Bush can put a good person in charge, maybe Colin Powell if he'd accept the job.

Actually, as much as I enjoy watching moonbats' heads explode, I'm concerned about Wolfowitz leaving DoD. I think he's irreplaceable.
I'd love to know the President's reasoning behind this. I don't think it's some kind of a "reward" for Wolfie - I think he's got a plan. Just don't know what it would be.
Of course, I'm probably wrong. Our LLL "betters" keep reminding us that Chimpy McHitler is a moron, and we all know morons are too stupid to have a plan. Right?

And Rand, it's not that schadenfreude is an unworthy emotion - it's just that it usually comes back to bite you in the ass, so it's better not to indulge in it.
In public. ;-p

Even if I were sure the need to kick ass and take names among the DoD bureaucracy were past, Powell wouldn't be my choice.

Barbara's right!
Can you say $57 per barrel?

As others have said, the election is the gift that keeps on giving.
