Now He'll Get Some Attention

Iowahawk, fresh from his trip across the pond terrorizing London, is whining about voter fraud, and he's got the Reverend Jesse Jackson on his side.

I think it's time for him to Move On.

What's interesting from my viewpoint is that (to state the bleedin obvious) blogging knows no geographical boundaries.

I have my own minor blog ( AEBrain ) but I also am a fairly major contributor to The Command Post, which has a fairly large readership in the US.

The Iowahawk article is in jest.... except that it contains a kernel of truth. The US has some funny customs about rights of Journalists to "protect sources". It has some funnier laws about Libel, including at least one extraordinary decision that makes public figures effectively fair game for nearly anything published *in the press* but not neccessarily by private individuals.

Expect some weird legal decisions to be handed down in the next decade, before it all gets sorted out. We're already getting them here in Oz.
