Don't Forget

There's total lunar eclipse tonight, visible from most of the US (assuming clear skies, of course) at a reasonable hour. Last one until 2007.

I have to wait for the calendar to roll over to 1007 to see another one? Are we using a 4-digit anodometer, or a 5-digit one? ;-)

Sorry, couldn't resist...

Keeping my fingers crossed that the clouds will break up enough to take a few pictures and look through my Orion XT6 at it tonight. Its not looking good though because its slated to rain all this week long and has been pretty overcast and dreary so far here in Dallas. I could see the moon through the clouds this morning and it had a spooky Halloween effect to it though.

Its supposed to be overcast here in NC tonight. Which sucks, I'll miss it.

We'd have fewer clouds, I bet, if we'd just signed that damned Kyoto thingy!!!

Hey Josh! You're always welcome to come to the Eclipse Party at the Science Place Planetarium here in Dallas. 6-12 midnight, and I'll have an NSS and Moon Society display on Return to the Moon. Lot's of good info and freebies.
